"White Racket" (2022) edo "A step towards the future" (Pauso bat etorkizunerantz) 140 x 41 x 5 cm-ko hiru dimentsioko lana da, collagearen prozedura erabiliz egina, Estadio Fundazioa sortu zenetik 62 urte bete direla eta.
Tenislaria naizen aldetik, artista izateaz gain, bizitzan eta kirolean egiten den ahaleginaren balioak nabarmendu nahi ditut nire lanaren bidez, esparru biak elkartuta, kirola nahiz artea.
Erraketa hau eta teniseko pilotak azken urteotan tenisean aritzeko erabili ditut. Pilota batzuek nire alaba gazteagoa zeneko argazki inprimatu bat daramate. Argazki horrek artelanarekin lotzen du, Estadioko aldizkariak emandako sari baten bidez, han, tenis pilotekin batera agertzen baita.
Nire lana. Eskulturaren helburua sendotasuna, sakrifizio-espiritua, erresistentzia eta iraunkortasuna transmititzea da. Etorkizunerako urratsa.
Kolore zuriak garbitasuna adierazten du, espazioaren zentzua sortuz, kolore guztien benetako oreka.
Obrak 62 tenis pilota ditu, 1960an Estadioa ireki zenetik 2022ko maiatzera arte igaro den urte bakoitzeko bat.
Azkenik, beste kolore bateko tenis pilota gehigarri bat gehitzeko aukera nabarmendu nahi nuke, aukera berezi bat sortzen bada. Horrela, obrak bizitza propioa hartzen du.

‘White Racket’ (2022) ou ‘A step towards the future’: un pas vers l´avenir : est une oeuvre tridimensionnelle de 140 *41*5 cm réalisée avec le procédé du collage à l´ occasion du 62 ème anniversaire de la Fondation Estadio.
En tant que joueur de tennis, mais aussi en tant qu´artiste, je souhaite mettre en avant à travers mon travail, les valeurs de l´effort dans la vie et dans le sport. Sport englobant les sphères, le sport et l´art.
Cette raquette ainsi que les balles de tennis, je les´ai utilisées dans mon jeu ces dernières années. Quelques unes de ces balles nous montrent une photo imprimée de ma fille lorsqu´elle était plus jeune grâce à un prix décerné par le magazine Stadium où on la voit avec des balles de tennis qui la connecte avec l´oeuvre.
Mon oeuvre: Le but de la sculpture est de transmettre la force, l´esprit de sacrifice, d´endurance et de persévérance. Un pas vers l´avenir.
Le blanc représente la pureté et crée un sentiment d´espace, un véritable équilibre de toutes les couleurs.
L´oeuvre d´art contient 62 balles de tennis, une par année depuis l´inauguration du stade en 1960 jusqu´à aujourd´hui.
Enfin, je voudrais avoir la possibilité d´ajouter quelques balles d´une autre couleur si l´occasion se présente. De cette façon, l´oeuvre prend sa propre vie.

"White racket" (2022) or "A step towards the future" is an artwork 140 x 41 x 5 cm produced using collage technique for the Estadio Fundazioa on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of its foundation. It combines objects used in tennis such as a racket, tennis balls and printed paper.
Being a tennis player myself as well as an artist my aim with this artwork is to highlight the values of effort in sport and in life encompassing both fields, that is sport and art.
have used the racket and the tennis balls practising tennis in recent years. Some of the balls bear an imprinted photo of my daughter when younger. A reward awarded in the photo section of the Estadio magazine showing my daughter with tennis balls connects her with the work of art.
My work The sculpture aims to transmit strength, spirit of sacrifice, endurance as well as perseverance. A step towards the future.
The colour white represents purity creating a sense of space, a true balance of all colours
There are 62 tennis balls, one for each year since the Estadio opened for the first time in 1960 till May 2022.
Finally would like to point out the possibility of adding an extra tennis ball of a different colour if a special occasion takes place, Thus the artwork takes on a life of its own.
